Vicky McMath (RMT/MNZ)
Vicky holds diplomas in Therapeutic Massage and Aromatherapy from the New Zealand College of Massage. With 20 years experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist (RMT) Vicky is a long standing and actively involved member of Massage New Zealand (MNZ) the association for professional massage therapists.
As a Dr Vodder Therapist, Vicky holds advanced training and certification in the Dr Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined De congestive Therapy, offered by the internationally recognised Dr Vodder School.
In her practice Vicky integrates all aspects of her training and techniques to best meet the needs of her client, working with and referring to like minded "client focused" health care professionals to provide a holistic health care package.
Vicky's interest in lymph drainage and the lymphatic system has lead her to specialize in the management of lymphoedema, commonly caused from cancer surgery or radiation therapy. From returning to New Zealand after intensive training in Adelaide in 2005, Vicky has worked with cancer clients both in private practice and out in the community, with very positive results restoring function to the affected limbs, reducing pain and the risk of infection. Weather it be for the client who is fully active or in palliative care.
